Many larger organizations have the need to organize and present a sizeable array of information. The task of maintaining such a web site, with pages possibly numbering in the hundreds, can be a daunting chore. We have designed content management system with the following components.
Document Organization: Site is setup on a interrelated hierarchy so that an unlimited amount of pages & subpages can be created by the client.
Document Maintenance: All page content is maintained by the client via a secure web interface.
Web Site Build: A "build" routine periodically updates all site content into standard HTML format. These HTML pages have many advantages over dynamically generated (i.e. .asp) pages.
Search Utility: Complex search routines can be applied to all site content.
User Interface: Web site users can submit documents, and interface with the site in any number of ways. Site submissions are queued for client approval & editing prior to posting.
For smaller organizations, or those that don't need a custom solution, we also offer a centralized content management system known as alaskaCMS.com. |
